About the Department:

The department is established in the year 1983 with Civil Engg. (PHE) Course and is housed in about 15,000 Sq. ft. of floor area All the laboratories are well equipped and are modernized with the latest equipments and machines under AICTE MODROBS scheme. Department is having full fledged, dedicated and experienced staff. Students have bagged state ranks in final year during the previous years which shows the commitment of staff and students.

The department trains the students to face the campus interviews, conducted by various construction companies and as a result the students are well placed in various private and government organizations.

Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering

Since the inception of Anjuman E Islam Polytechnic in 1983 the Electronics & Communication discipline is in force. It was started as Telecommunication discipline with a intake of 45 students. Over the years it has grown in leaps and bounds. The intake is 60 students at present.

The department is spread over a carpet area of 7000 Sq.ft. with well equipped laboratories and class rooms. The labs are regularly upgraded as per the demands of the syllabus and AICTE norms. Laboratories have been modernized under the AICTE MODROBS scheme .

To impart excellent training and to develop technical and competing skills, the department has been equipped with latest facilities. The department trains the students to face campus interviews, conducted by various companies and get good placements.

About the Department:

The department has been established in the year 1984. The department is housed in a total area of 18000 Sq ft. and is well furnished. The department has been equipped with sufficient facilities to impart training and to develop technical skills and competencies of students. The department is successfully training the students for facing campus interviews conducted by various companies and get selected in the firms like Kalyani, Jindal, BHEL, BEL etc Grant in Aid status is awarded by the Government of Karnataka in the year 2001. The Admission intake of the department for 1st year is 60. Out of which 50% (30) seats are under Government quota and remaining 50% (30) seats are under Management quota. Under the AICTE MODROBS scheme laboratories have been modernized

Dept. of Computer Science Engineering

The department of computer science and Engg., at Anjuman E Islam Polytechnic, Gadag is renowned for imparting diploma education and preparing its students for real world challenges. Computer science department is started with an intake of 45 in 1992-93 and later increased to 60.
